It also contains garlic powder to improve animal’s appetite. It protects animal from spring time grass tetany thanks to its high magnesium content. All sort of flies (fly, bees, animal flies) can cause irritation and stress to animals. That will lead to reduction in meat and milk production. Those flies suck animals blood and share their nutrients and more seriously they spread many type of diseases. Farmelix® Fly Control is produced in special “repel flies” formulation to protect animals from these flies.
EFFECT MECANISM: It prevents flies to approach animals. The organic and inorganic mixture inside Farmelix® Fly Control is completely metabolized and mixed with all the secreted substances (sweat, tear, nasal mucus, saliva, stool, urine) of animals to protect them from flies. It does not kill flies.
Farmelix® Fly Control protects animals from flies and it also provides extra vitamins and minerals to keep animals healthy and stronger. It also improves animal yields. If animals consume Farmelix® Fly Control regularly, they stop ingesting any non-edible materials.
Technical specifications:
- Farmelix licking buckets have an original production process in which vitamins, minerals and energizing molasses are mixed together and poured into the buckets and hardened.
- As the pressing and heat are not used, the vitamins are more stable and the product has a richer mineral content.
- Farmelix is harder than other buckets, has a lower consumption level, low molasses level and can be more durable in outdoor weather conditions.
Purpose of use:
- It is particularly enriched with a high level of magnesium to meet the needs of the animals in the spring and summer months. This is a protection against magnesium deficiency (hypomagnesemia).
- It contains garlic extracts: allicin and ajoen, which not only stimulates the appetite, but also repels flies.
- To provide the animals with vitamins and minerals.
- To protect health and strengthen the immune system.
- Increasing the feed intake, increasing the yield of meat and milk.
When is it used?
- It is recommended during spring and summer.
- During the flies’ season to avoid stress and yield losses.
Feeding Instruction and consumption:
- Leave one Farmelix licking bucket for 5 cattle or Horse, 40 sheep or goats.
- The consumption of this supplement may vary depending upon the condition of the animals (Lactation, pregnancy etc), quality and quantity of forages being fed, seasonal weather conditions and the housing type
- Consumption is between 100-120 g/day/head for Cattle and Horses, 20 g /day/head/ for sheep and goat.
- Consumption may be somehow higher up to the first week, but if it does not return to normal within 1 week, it is recommended to control the ration energy and mineral level.
- The product should be used with caution for sensitive sheep, as it contains copper.
