Pig Mag Block contains minerals and trace elements in addition to a high level of Magnesium. Magnesium is one of main ingredients in pig nutrition.

Magnesium It is an important cofactor of several enzymes involved in protein and energy metabolism and it is also a constituent of bone. It is considered one of the essential macro-minerals for swine. However, researchers generally thought that it was unnecessary to supplement magnesium in diets of sows, since common corn-soybean meal diets can supply magnesium. Reported signs of deficiency showed an abnormal gait as a result of the lack of enzymes in the nervous system, incoordination and weak knees and hock joints with loss of tendon tension. Adding calcinedmagnetite in excess causes diarrhea. 

Pork Quality: Using dietary magnesium supplementation improves pork quality, especially, color and fluid loss. Furthermore, magnesium supplementation has been reported to reduce oxidation of meat during storage.
Feeding instruction

Distribute one block for every 10 pigs, 20 piglets so that each animal can easily gain access to a block.

Optimize the Pig-Mag Block consumption by providing a permanent supply of water and by supplying just one type of blocks every time.

Usage: Self service

Consumption: Renew the supply of Pig-Mag Block according to consumption requirements: 30 g a day per head for pigs and 5g for piglets

Consumption may be higher for a short time for animals with a nutritional deficiency but their intake will be stabilized quickly.
